Notaries are regulated through the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury and further information about how Notaries are regulated can be found on the Faculty Office website. I am also a member of the Notaries Society and their website also provides further useful information. Links to the relevant websites are located below.


I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB357700.

Terms of Business

You can obtain my terms of business here and on request I can provide you with a hardcopy.  My terms of business include a summary of the mandatory information that I need to provide you with and prior to any instructions I will require a signed copy for my records.

Privacy Policy

I am required to keep in my records ,amongst other, information about you and the actual notarial act.  Under the Notaries Practice Rules 2019, which can be accessed via the Faculty Office’s website, I am obliged to maintain these records for a minimum of 12 years.  I will retain copies of your identity documents and all correspondence for the same length as the notarial act due to my legitimate interest to provide you with possible duplicates of the acts, dealing with any complaints and or accusations of misconduct and your continued instructions also provide me with your consent.  Further details can be found in my  (see above and my Data Protection Policy).

I aim to provide all clients with an efficient and high standard of service. However, in the unlikely event that you should wish to complain, then you should follow the complaints procedure set out in my terms of business, however, in the first instance please contact me so that we can attempt to resolve any issues.

Right To Cancel

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to your instructions.  This means you have the right to cancel your instructions to me within fourteen days of from the date you agree to retain our services. You can cancel your instructions by contacting me by post or email, clearly stating that you wish to cancel your instructions.
