How to Certify Copies of your Important Documents
Have you been asked to provide a certified copy of an important document?
In certain situations you may be asked to provide documents that are certified as true copies of the original.
Commonly Certified Documents:
- Passports and ID cards
- Academic certificates and qualifications
- Utility bills and proof of address
We can certify your documents as:
“Certified True Copy of the Original”
“Certified True Copy of the Original and that the photo is a true likeness”
Variations to the wording are possible subject to the specific requirements. For example you may only have an electronic version of a proof of address. Under certain circumstances I can certify an electronically downloaded document and state the following:
“Certified True Copy of an Electronic Original”
Why choose ARG Notary Limited?
- Legally Compliant: Our certifications meet the requirements of UK authorities, including the Home Office, HM Land Registry, and professional bodies.
- Fast & Efficient: We offer same-day appointments and quick turnaround times.
- International Recognition: If required, we can arrange notarisation and apostille services for documents intended for use abroad.
We Can Help with Overseas Transactions:
Notaries are legally qualified impartial witnesses, appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, who can certify documents for use outside the UK. Each notary public has an official seal which ‘stamps’ documents. Officials abroad will then accept these notarised documents because the Notary Public has confirmed their veracity.
